Red Carpet Auto Transport

Red Carpet did $3000 damage to my car and refused to pay for its repair. Red Carpet showed great negligence by contracting to a misfit trucking company who has no insurance. When I asked red carpet to help me with my damages they replied "What do you want me to do about it?" Apparently Red Carpet will get anyone they can to transport your car--and of course you are not aware of the quality of the transporter you just put your faith in Red Carpet.By the way red carpet's website says that they are fully insured--ha Red Carpet will talk to you really nice and appear to be helpful, but if the slightest problem comes up, you will quickly find that you are all alone. I also found the the owner of red carpet has a number of bad marks on his record, not to mention that he gives gifts and prizes for 5 star ratings. He also makes it part of his daily job to read through www.transportreviews.com and post nonsensical reply to "troublemakers". And the way this website is set up, the originator of the review is not allowed to counter the rebuttal. So if you must transport a car, STAY AWAY FROM RED CARPET and no matter who you choose, make sure that you have your own insurance on the car before it is transported, because you cannot count on too many of these companies.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I contracted this carrier to pick up a car in Florida to transport to Indiana. After two weeks, I cancelled the order because they were unable to find transport. I found a company the next day to pick up the car. When the second company arrived to pick up the car, it was gone. Appearently, Red Carpet found a carrier after the order was cancelled and picked up the car. I lost my deposit paid to the second company, and Red Carpet would not refund me that money, even though they said it was their fault that their carrier picked up the car. And on top of that, the car was delivered to Chicago, not Indiana, and I had to go pick it up.
